Capsule flyers

JANUARY 2023 - April 2025
            Capsule is an extremely important event and community i’ve been a part of for the better part of 3 years now. Beginning as a monthly series, its grown into a community of hundreds from all corners of Detroit’s dance music scence. Capsule has become a bridge between the new and the old in dance music in Detroit and it provides some of the most unique dance music experiences you’ll find in the city. The the amount of raw talent among the DJs and artists in the Capsule commmunity is massive. Its an event that has become so much more than a party to so many people. We’ve expanded to working with non-profits to provide funds for their efforts during our events and have also started a music release platform for our up and coming artists.

Creating and curating Capsule’s flyers have allowed me to create a visual identity that is strong among the the community. The flyers embody the aesthetic of Capsule. I approach them as a look into the journey that is Capsule. They’ve given me the invaluable experience of having many real world, first hand reactions to my work that have led to a series of flyers with high consistency, recognizability and character.
