2022
        I started this mix series at the beginning of 2022, as a reaction to feeling creatively stale for some time. I felt I needed to challenge myself to keep up a creative project of my own that could further my position as a DJ and designer. Although I strayed from my original plan of a mix every month, these mixes helped me connect with the incredible music community here in Detroit. I’ve met many great Djs and have played more gigs than I ever thought I would at the beginning of 2022, all because I decided to start this mix series. The series became a way to use my recent music findings, hidden gems, and classic tracks from my collection to inspire cover designs. The mixes and accompanying covers are designed to act as a journal, logging where im at and where i’ve been as a DJ. I hope to feature other talented DJs and producers who inspire me in the future and to continue this series as long as it feels right.
